The Harm of Bitter Melon

Balsam pear is mainly produced by lateral branches, but it should be noted that the more lateral branches sprout, the more flowering and melon will be produced. Once there are too many vines, because the vines consume too much nutrients, there will be insufficient nutrition in the reproductive growth, resulting in poor flower bud differentiation, slow growth, and the balsam pear can not sit on the melon, and the deformed melon will also become more. Poor ventilation and light transmission will also lead to the weakening of the disease resistance of balsam pear and the aggravation of the disease. Balsam pear likes strong light when it enters the flowering and melon-bearing stage. If there are too many side branches, the side branches will shade each other, and the side branches will flourish, reducing the melon sitting rate.

The purpose of bitter gourd control

The purpose of prosperity control: effectively control the growth of bitter gourd and safely control prosperity. Increase the content of chlorophyll, the leaves are dark green, without yellow leaves. The stem and vine are strong, increase flowers and keep flowers, improve fruit setting rate, prevent abnormal fruit, adjust the balance between vegetative growth and reproductive growth, and make more nutrients into reproductive growth.

Grind a sword in ten years

SHIBIDA (5% calcium propionate): a new type of plant growth regulator jointly developed by China Agricultural University and Anyang Quanfeng, a leading enterprise specializing in the production of plant growth regulators, is a product with dual registration of domestic raw drugs and preparations, and is also a recommended product for green prevention and control of the National Agricultural Technology Promotion Center, and won the gold medal of the 7th Green Pesticide Expo. It mainly plays its role through leaf absorption, thus inhibiting the synthesis of gibberellic acid. It has no residual toxicity to the next crop, is environmentally friendly and has no pollution, and has a broad application prospect.

Experiment on controlling the growth and increasing production of bitter gourd in Lincang City, Yunnan Province

The experiment of bitter gourd control in Yunkan Formation, Mengding Town, Lincang City, Yunnan Province:

Demonstration crop: balsam pear (variety: Evergreen No. 1)

Time of administration: December 8, 2018

Time of return visit: December 21, 2018

Demonstration site: Yunkan Group, Mengding Town, Lincang City, Yunnan Province

Demonstration farmer: Zhao Yuewen

Purpose of use: To control the growth of balsam pear safely and effectively. Regulate the balance of nutrient growth and reproductive growth of balsam pear, increase the content of chlorophyll, and make the balsam pear stem and vine strong, with thick green leaves and no yellow leaves. Promote flower bud differentiation, flower early, increase fruit setting rate, reduce the number of deformed fruit, and improve quality and yield.

Results of yield increase test of bitter gourd

Test results:

1. After application, the leaves are thick green, thick and elastic, the petiole and stem internode are short, so as to avoid too large leaves blocking the growth point, so that the leaves at the growth point can fully see the sun, and improve the light rate of the melon. The number of melons per plant is large, the color of the melon is deep, the appearance is good, and the melons grow straight and fast.

2. The measurement of stem internode length after 9 days of application showed that compared with the length of stem internode of the blank control, the effect of treatment I, treatment II and treatment III of Shibida on controlling the flourishing of balsam pear was 25.9%, 23.2% and 36.6%, respectively, achieving a very ideal effect on controlling the flourishing of balsam pear.
