October 14 is the World Standards Day. The theme of this year's World Standards Day is "standards create a fair competition environment". On October 10, 2014, on the eve of the "World Standards Day", the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standards Commission approved and issued 33 national standards, involving health and safety, ecological environment, economic development, social management and other aspects.
The series of test criteria for environmental safety assessment of chemical pesticides includes 21 national standards, which will further improve the scientific level of environmental risk assessment and safety management of pesticides in China, and reduce the potential harm of pesticides to the ecological environment from the source.
